The last faction in Planetfall are the Amazons, which stuck with a lot of people thanks to their rather outrageous and cheesy sci-fi designs. That said, some players may find some aspects a bit daunting at first, in particular the very expansive tech tree, which allows you to cater your gameplay and strategy to how you see fit. It’s also notably easier to get into than other 4X strategy games, despite the vastness and particularly deep mechanics involved.
In my review for Planetfall, I mentioned how its successful integration of various mechanics along with the gripping sci-fi narrative was a big success for developer Triumph Studios. As this is also not a Steam installation, there does not appear to be any way aside from uninstalling and reinstalling via the Xbox Game Pass again.Age of Wonders: Planetfall is finally available now across all platforms, and the initial consensus for this 4X turn-based strategy game has been very positive, with players noting Planetfall’s incredible depth and its interesting and unique factions. There is no option via the launcher to do so. The exact same errors are happening to a friend of mine who is also attempting to play from the Xbox Game Pass. If I hit back, then attempt to connect to multiplayer again I get the message "Lost connection to Lobby server! Could not login: unknown error - only offline features are supported!" It goes through its loading/connection process and brings up the list of lobbies. When I hit play, I log in via the button on the bottom right, then I hit Online Multiplayer. Please contact support." If I scroll down to the bottom of the launcher, the version is (I assume) "pdxlaun-2267-fix-game-pass-gpu-crash-1 (sandbox)" Are you online? Please check your connection." and in the top left the Paradox symbol has a red dot that when you hover on it it gives the message: "Something went wrong while updating the launcher. When launching via Xbox Game Pass or Microsoft Store, the launcher pops up as normal, but the "News" tab says "We couldn't fetch news about this game. Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Which version of the game are you running?
What platform are you running the game on? Launcher will not update, cannot connect to multiplayer when game is launched.
